It is looking like 2014 is going to be a good year for Amanda Bynes.
The former Nickelodeon star just got a big break from a New York judge, RumorFix has confirmed.
The bong-throwing case from 2014 will be dismissed if she stays out of trouble for six months and goes to counseling.
Amanda was not in court, but was represented by her attorney Gerald Shargel who tells us the adjournment in contemplation of dismissal does not admit guilt and is not a conviction.
The Hairspray actress was charged last spring with reckless endangerment and marijuana possession after building managers said they smelled pot from her 36th floor New York apartment building. She was then accused of trying to get rid of the evidence by throwing a bong out the window.
Shortly thereafter, she moved back to LA, where she tried to char a neighbor’s lawn, which eventually got her committed to a mental hospital.
