Friends and family members of the late Gia Allemand gathered Wednesday afternoon for a visitation at a Queens, New York funeral home.
The former Bachelor contestant committed suicide last week after alleged problems in her relationship with NBA player boyfriend Ryan Anderson. She was only 29-years-old.
So far we haven’t seen any pictures of Anderson coming or going from the Papavero Funeral Home, but Gia’s former boyfriend – Major League Baseball pitcher Carl Pavano – sent a beautiful bouquet of bright pink roses and a note that read “My thoughts and prayers are with the Micheletti (Gia’s) family. Love, Carl Pavano.”
Gia’a funeral service will take place at 11am on Thursday at the Trinity Grace Church in Manhattan. And the Bachelor whose love she competed for will be there.
Jake Pavelka tweeted out earlier Wednesday “Going to be an incredibly tough day. Crossfit training in NY to occupy my mind. Then…Find my peace with Gia. Can I ask for your prayers today?”
Her other Bachelor family members are planning a West Coast gathering in Gia’s memory for those unable to make it to New York for Thursday’s service. Former Bachelorette and Gia’s season 14 friend Ali Fedotowsky tweeted out “ATTN Bachelor family on west coast. We are planning a memorial for Gia this weekend for those of us who can’t make it to NYC. Please DM your email.”
