Jenelle Evans has a miracle worker for an attorney.
Dustin Sullivan managed to get one charge against the Teen Mom dropped during a July 25 court appearance in North Carolina and he’s working on a plea deal for the rest of the charges, RumorFix has confirmed.
The 21-year-old mom was accused of misdemeanor cyberstalking by her ex-fiance Gary Head, but that charge was dropped.
She still faces felony drug charges and a simple assault charge from her April 23 arrest with her estranged husband, Courtland Rogers. Police found 12 bindles of heroin in Jenelle’s car and she and her ex were charged with possession to sell, manufacture an or distribute. Dustin tells RumorFix that the simple assault charge was postponed until August 12, so the judge can hear all the charges together.
In the meantime, Dustin tells us, he’s working with the state on a plea bargain that would include probation. “We are not pleading to anything that involves and active sentence attached to it,” he says.
