While Miley Cyrus has managed to keep a flurry of fans, she definitely does not have a fan in Jennifer Lawrence.
During the Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere in London Monday night, the classy actress asked about women sexualizing themselves in the media, specifically in regards to Miley’s recent raunchiness.
While she didn’t name the pop star directly, her answer was obvious, telling BBC’s Newsnight, “It is a part of the entertainment industry that sells. Sex sells, and for some disgusting reason young sex sells even more.”
J. Law continued, “For some people, that’s how they feel best, that’s how they feel sexy,” she stated.
The star also said she will make a very conscious decision to remain a role model, adding that, “I think [Katniss Everdeen] a wonderful role model for young girls. I’m happy that they have a character like that.”
