RumorFix can confirm that Kate Gosselin has filed a federal lawsuit against former husband Jon Gosselin.
Kate’s attorney tells us that the federal lawsuit has been filed against the father of her eight children on Monday in Philadelphia.
In court documents obtained by RumorFix, the reality star claims that Jon gave away personal information to a reporter Robert Hoffman after hacking into her personal computer and bank accounts–all for the purpose of a tell-all book.
The book, called “Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World”, was written last year by the reporter, and Kate claims most the info in it was obtained illegally.
Kate claims in the doc that Jon worked with Rob in the tell-all by providing him with personal info from her email accounts, computer hard rive, phone, and stealing her confidential bank records–none of which Jon ever had permission to access.
Abusing her kids, spanking them with a wooden spoon and even mistreating the family dog, are only a few of the shocking claims made against Kate in the tell-all.
Gosselin is suing for identity theft, wiretapping and invasion of privacy as well as seeking compensatory and punitive damages and court fees.
