What? Who? Me?...well I was born in Georgia, raised in Texas and I'm about as sweet n southern a girl as both those states combined! I always dreamed of fame, knew I wanted to do something in the spotlight since I was about 7.

Radio became the focus of that around age 18 when, to get a guys attention, I registered for a couple of his Communications classes and discovered I liked what I was learning as much as I liked him. By the end of the semester I was a college radio jock at KSHU/Sam Houston State University and dating the cute dude that became my inspiration.

It's been 22 years since then, yeah yeah go ahead and do the math, I'm early 40's and don't mind admitting it, and I've had a pretty good run in the biz. I love to hit live shows, catch a good movie, weight train and cook, but most importantly spend time hanging with my family. I have 3 very cool kids and I'm married to the guy in that Communications class...uh huh, nailed a career and a husband!

Q & A With The DJ

Occupation: Radio dj, duh.

First job: Grocery sacker at Jamail's in the Woodlands. First chick to ever sack groceries there. Made killer tips!

Words to live by: Live well, laugh often, love much.

Perfect day: Me and the hubby, on the beach. Good breeze. A mojito in my hand and my kiddos laughing and building sandcastles.

Wildest dream: I used to think I would go to Hollywood one day and randomly be discovered. Some big shot would make me rich and famous because I'm just so likeable. Not! Now my wildest dream is to travel to Greece or Europe or Australia.

Biggest Challenge: 8 hours of sleep.

Indulgence: Shopping. I love fun, inexpensive fashions from little boutiques around town.

Recent impulse purchase: I don't impulse buy anymore. The economy has driven me to think through every purchase and get Groupons or coupons before I shell out any $$.

Favorite movie: Ooo that's tough, big movie buff. THE NOTEBOOK, STEAL MAGNOLIAS, ELF are the first to come to mind.

Next thing on your to do list:? Wash my car. It's covered in shoe polish that says "GO BIG RED" It was cool when we were actually playing baseball as the Red Sox...a month ago!
