'Tonight Show': Leno rips on Comcast over staff cuts
Jay Leno returned to “The Tonight Show” stage for the first time since news broke over the weekend that major cuts had been made at the show. Jay opened his Monday night monologue with some jokes about the changes, which reportedly include a 20-person layoff and Jay taking a “tremendous” pay cut to keep his remaining staff. “We’ve consistently been number one in the ratings,” Leno said. “And, if you know anything about our network, that kind of thing is frowned upon.”
