Special Stones London show.  Bachman & Turner DVD due soon. Grateful Dead "Dave's Picks Vol. 3". World's healthiest meal. Saything thank you makes relationships better. Reddit & Pinterest. People work better in loud environments. Emotional infidelity.

ROLLING STONES

The Rolling Stones' Ron Wood will be teaming up with two former Stones, Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor, for a special concert in London on June 30th. According to TheLondon Evening Standard, half of the surviving Stones will take part in Bluesfest 2012: Ronnie Wood & Friends, The Chess Records Story set to play at London's HMV Hammersmith Apollo. Wyman and Wood last jammed together in December when Wyman sat in on a Stones rehearsal for the first time in 20 years.

On December 1st, 2010 Taylor, Wood, and the Stones' pre-fame bassist Dick Taylor performed at London's 100 Club as a fundraiser for the "Save The 100 Club" campaign to help keep the legendary club in business. That same year, Taylor teamed up with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards to add overdubs to the unreleased material on the Exile On Main Street reissue. He remains on good terms with the Stones, and has frequently sat in Richards, Wood, and Wyman over the years.

Mick Taylor, who's currently working on his autobiography, recalled that back in the day, like any working band, the Stones were extremely tight -- both on and off the road: "That whole period was incredibly intense and creative for all of us because it was a new beginning for the band -- and they had signed a new contract with Atlantic Records and we had to, in theory, at least, we had to come up with at least six albums in six years. If we weren't hanging out together or recording, we were touring. I just remember most of the time we were either in the studio, or we were socializing together, or we were on the road."

BACHMAN & TURNER

Coming on June 26th is the DVD and Blu-ray edition of Bachman & Turner's live album Live At The Roseland Ballroom, NYC. Guitarist Randy Bachman and bassist Fred Turner, who were the architects of Bachman-Turner Overdrive's greatest songs, perform a total of 20 tracks featuring BTO's classic hits such as "Let It Ride," "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet," "Roll On Down The Highway," and "Takin' Care Of Business" -- along with Bachman dipping into his Guess Who catalogue with a particularly hot rendition of "American Woman."

Randy Bachman shed some light on how the Live At Roseland Ballroom project came about: "We got an offer to do a 3D 12-camera shoot for PBS, 'cause they're all going 3D in 2014. We picked the (Manhattan venue) Roseland. Paul Shaffer joined us for 'Shakin' All Over' and 'Takin' Care Of Business.' The live CD is the music track from that and we got to play our old hits and, I don't know, three or four selections from our Bachman-Turner album that we released last year. And everything is suddenly coming together really well. Wal-Mart placed a huge-antic substantial order on this -- y'know, like 30, 40,000 units and we were stunned. It's amazing. It's almost like (laughs) the '70s are back!"

GRATEFUL DEAD

Available now for pre-order is the latest Grateful Dead archival release in the band's new Dave's Picks series. The new collection spotlights the Dead's historic October 22nd, 1971 concert from the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, with a third CD featuring key tracks from the previous night's show at the venue. The show includes new pianist Keith Godchaux on board for his first tour with the Dead as they tackle tracks from their then-recent Workingman's Dead, American Beauty, and Skull And Roses collections.

Highlights on Dave's Picks Vol. 3 include: "Bertha," "Me And My Uncle," "Tennessee Jed," "Jack Straw," "Loser," "Playing In The Band," "Sugaree," "Beat It On Down The Line," "Me And Bobby McGee," "One More Saturday Night," "Ramble On Rose," "Cumberland Blues," "Deal," "Sugar Magnolia," "Casey Jones," "Johnny B. Goode," "Brown-Eyed Women," and "St. Stephen," among others.

Although Bob Weir personally signs off on all the band's vault releases, he admits that dealing with the Dead's archive is not that high on his agenda: "Different ones of us are more or less involved in it. I'm pretty much less involved. I, I've got a lot of stuff to do, and producing records of, of what we've done is way down on my list of priorities. I don't listen to all of them. I can't -- I don't have time. I listen to excerpts that people play me -- y'know, 'Check this out, man.' "Hey, we were hot back then!'"

FOOD EXPERTS CREATE WORLD'S HEALTHIEST MEAL

British food experts set out to come up with the world's healthiest meal, studying more than 4,000 health claims and narrowing the list down to 222 before coming up with their "superfood"-packed menu. The meal begins with salmon terrine, made up of smoked fish with olive oil and fresh herbs, served with a mixed leaf salad with extra-virgin olive oil dressing. Next is a chicken and lentil casserole, accompanied by mixed vegetables and a high-fiber multigrain roll. Finally, dessert is a vanilla pudding-like blancmange, made up of yogurt topped with walnuts and sugar-free caramel sauce.

SAYING THANK YOU MAKES RELATIONSHIPS BETTER

Saying 'thank you' more often to your partner could make you both happier. According to a new study, the simple phrase can result in both a longer-lasting and more fulfilled relationship. The researchers examined 50 undergraduate participants who had been in relationships for about 15 months. They were asked to fill out a questionnaire nightly for one week about their relationship, and how appreciated they felt and how appreciative they were toward their partner. Nine months later, the study participants were given another survey asking about their relationship. On days when people reported feeling more appreciated, they were more likely to report feeling more appreciative of their partner the following day. (Daily Mail)

MEN ARE ON REDDIT, WOMEN ARE ON PINTEREST

72 percent of Pinterest's users are female -- but on the other end of the internet spectrum, Reddit is full of sexist, technology obsessed men. A new study also found that more than half of YouTube users are male -- and that 62 percent of Twitter users are female. The data also revealed that the ladies generally prefer sites which allow them to connect with their friends, like Facebook and Myspace, while men seem to prefer social networks where they can find stuff out, like Digg and del.icio.us. Men also seem to prefer music based social networks like Soundcloud and Last.fm, while women prefer those on which they can share pictures, like Instagram, and ones in which they can catch up with old friends from real life, like Classmates.com and Mylife. The only sites which are gender neutral are Scribd, Foursquare and Orkut, implying that both men and women like to view primary documents and 'check in' wherever they go.

PEOPLE WORK BETTER IN LOUD ENVIRONMENTS

Researchers looked at how the noise around someone affects their work ability. Compared to a relatively quiet environment (50 decibels), a moderate level of ambient noise (70 dB) enhanced subjects' performance on the creativity tasks, while a high level of noise (85 dB) hurt it. Modest background noise, the scientists explain, creates enough of a distraction to encourage people to think more imaginatively. (Here's a helpful chart on typical noise levels.) So -- the next time you're stumped on a creative challenge, head to a bustling coffee shop, not the library. As the researchers write in their paper, "[I]nstead of burying oneself in a quiet room trying to figure out a solution, walking out of one's comfort zone and getting into a relatively noisy environment may trigger the brain to think abstractly, and thus generate creative ideas." EMOTIONAL INFIDELITY: SIGNS YOU'RE CROSSING THE LINE (YourTango.com)

1. You dress up for him. When you buy new clothes or change your hairstyle and wonder what he'll think (instead of how your partner will react) that's a danger sign. We all consider our audience when we're getting ready to go out, but doing so with a particular other in mind not your significant other suggests there's something more here than meets the eye.

2. You lie to your significant other about seeing him. Perhaps you fail to mention an innocent coffee you had with him. You consider it just a small omission, not to be confused with a real lie, when you don't share it with your significant other. Maybe you even tell yourself you just forgot. If this is the case, you must ask yourself what you're hiding from your partner and why.

3. You do special things for him that you don't do for others. You give him that cute card that perfectly captures how you feel about your friendship, or the little knickknack from your last trip which you imagine him placing on his desk. It seems innocent enough, but they are little reminders of you and invitations to reciprocate. What are your true intentions about this relationship and this person?

4. You're spending more and more time away from home and/or your significant other. Late nights at the office are starting to add up. Long lunches are becoming routine. When you really think about it, you can see you're trying to increase your opportunity to spend time with him at the expense of the time you spend with your significant other. What is all this time with him really about?

5. Your electronic communications are increasingly devoted to your non-significant other. You can't wait to surreptitiously check your phone to see the latest text from him. You're up in the middle of the night on Facebook. When the balance of who you communicate with tips away from your significant other toward someone else, it's a sure sign of trouble in both relationships.
