Kelly Ryan
Kelly got her start in radio while at the University of Wyoming Engineering Dept studying to be an Architect but applied for a summer job so she could stay in Laramie for some fun. It was baptism by fire as she was only given a tour of the station then told to complete a LIVE on-air News/Sports/Weather/ Ag Report/Entertainment segment with literally 60 seconds to prepare. That adrenaline rush alone pushed her to pursue a career in radio. Not only is she passionate about radio but in everything she does. When not busy in the studio, Kelly’s active with the Arthritis Foundation Houston and various Animal Rescue Groups. Trust us… you want her playing for your team too!

In her own words.
Q: Describe your most interesting radio interview.
A: Walter Cronkite – And the coolest part was being asked by him personally to interview him. The scary thing it was just two days into my radio career. He was at my college geology dept filming for the BBC and I was the only one who knew and popped up to watch him in action. We spent 30 min visiting on his break, he told me all about his career and starting in Houston, later after filming wrapped he said “Hey you should interview me for your school radio station”
