Last year a survey found that 17% of online dating app users were there to cheat on their partner. On average 25% of marriages deal with infidelity at some point. A new survey shows that if someone is dissatisfied in their relationship, being locked down with their partner isn’t helping. Add stress from the pandemic and the negativity gets worse. The infidelity website AshleyMadison.com confirms the findings. New accounts on their website is up on average of 2000 per day during quarantine. The survey also shows that people are tired of looking at pictures and videos online. They want real human touch. The Kinsey Institute reveals that 13% of people in relationships have reached out to an ex for some fun on the side. Bottom line: cheating is on the rise during the time of coronavirus.
