Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx and Rob Zombie are part of a super group L.A. Rats.

The band also includes guitarist John 5 who has played with Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson as well as drummer Tommy Clufetos who has played with Ozzy and Black Sabbath.

The band’s first release is a cover of the song “I’ve Been Everywhere”.

Although the song was initially written in 1959, Johnny Cash had recorded it in 1996 for his second “American Recordings” album.

The track will be part of the soundtrack to the upcoming movie “The Ice Road”.

As expected the track is a bit heavier by L.A. Rats than it was when Johnny Cash recorded it.

Below you can check out L.A. Rats version of the song and then below that, check out Johnny Cash’s version.

You decide which version you prefer, that is, if you have a preference between the two.
