On February 5th 2021 Keith Richards made a post to his Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.

The post is a picture of Keith in a studio playing a big Hofner bass.

Even though Hofner is the company that made Paul McCartney’s famous violin bass, it was not one of those.

The posts simply say “About last night! New music on the horizon!”

The music could easily be solo music or something from The Rolling Stones.

Then on February 7th 2021 The Stones posted the picture and the same caption to their Facebook page and retweeted Keith’s tweet.

Come February 11th 2021 Keith was sharing again.

This time a picture of him playing guitar with the caption “Same session with 1957 Gibson Super 400!”

February 18th 2021 brought another post with Keith at the piano and Don Was playing stand up Bass captioned “#TBT Feb.3,2021 with @DonWas on upright bass!”.

That doesn’t make it a Stones record because they don’t officially have a Bass player who is a member of the band.

After the pandemic lockdowns began The Rolling Stones did release a brand new song back in April 2020, “Living In A Ghost Town”.

Keith has been busy solo wise in quarantine as well.

Keith released his “Live at the Hollywood Palladium” with his band The X-Pensive Winos back in December 2020.

There was even a streaming event related to the release as well that you can still view here.

I guess we will have to wait for more info before we can conclude if the new music is solo or with The Stones.

You can scour the posts for clues yourself.
