The New Year’s Eve “KISS Goodbye 2020″ show was live-streamed from Dubai and set 2 world records confirmed by the Guinness Book of World Records. The 2 world records set, according to Blabbermouth.net, are “highest flame projection in a music concert” at 35 meters (nearly 115 feet) and “most flame projections launched simultaneously in a music concert” at 73. KISS spent $1 million on pyrotechnics and it was definitely worth it. Take a look.

A representative for the Guinness Book of World Records said to KISS, “You are officially amazing.” The whole show cost $10 million and was filmed with more than 50 4K cameras along with 360-degree views. The stage was a gigantic 250 feet. In an interview with the Oakland Press, Gene Simmons said that KISS was told ‘You can do anything you want here, no restrictions.’, and KISS said, ‘Wait a minute. You mean we can put on the biggest pyro show of all time since Krakatoa and the Big Bang?” That is exactly what they did!
