Back in 2018 Billy F Gibbons released his album “The Big Bad Blues”.
One of the songs on that album was the Blues classic “Rollin’ And Tumblin’”.
On February 11th 2021 Gibbons released a video for the song.
The song was originally done by Hambone Willie Newbern as well as Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Cream and Jeff Beck.
This new video features the band Gibbons took on the road for “The Big Bad Blues” tour.
That is Gibbons with fellow guitarist Austin Hanks and one time Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum.
In fact, Matt Sorum also produced the video.
According to LouderSound.com Billy said “Rollin’ and Tumblin’ is the musical embodiment of our favoured slogan ‘blues you can use,’ No matter how it’s interpreted, it’s the sound of the now and the future, too! We’re happy to have it out again as our contribution to continuum that is the blues.”
