August 21st 1976 Lynyrd Skynyrd played England’s Knebworth Festival.
In my opinion, this was the band at it’s peak.
Ronnie Van Zant and guitarist Steve Gaines were still alive and rocking.
Sadly they would lose their lives in the plane crash.
Other members of that classic line up who passed on years after the crash, Allen Collins, Leon Wilkeson, and Billy Powell, were also on stage that day.
On April 9th 2021 the DVD “Live At Knebworth ’76” will be released.
It will give you the chance to experience Skynyrd in their heyday.
