LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Protesters took to the streets nationwide for a fifth day Sunday after a Kentucky grand jury declined to indict officers for the March 13 death of Breonna Taylor.

Two officers who fired their weapons at Taylor’s home – Sgt. Jon Mattingly and Detective Myles Cosgrove – were deemed justified in the shooting.

Detective Brett Hankison, who was fired from the police department in June, was charged with three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment for shooting into Taylor’s apartment from outside, endangering the lives of three people in the apartment next door.
