He said he’s been a fan of NASCAR since “Days of Thunder.”

Trackhouse Racing is also owned by Justin Marks and run by Ty Norris. Daniel Suarez is the team’s driver and the only full-time Mexican driver in racing, Fox Sports reported.

Pitbull is looking past racing and instead the potential that the group has in the future, as his Slam! Foundation currently runs several public charter schools, Fox Sports reported.

Marks’ family foundation plans to promote STEM education programs through its racing team.

Trackhouse Racing will make a debut in the No. 99 Chevrolet Camero at the Daytona 500 on Feb. 14, the team said in a news release.
