LONDON – Britain’s Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have announced their newborn son’s name.

According to People magazine and E! News, Eugenie, whose parents are Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, took to Instagram on Saturday to share the name and some new photos.

“We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank,” the caption read. “Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can’t express. We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.⁣”

Eugenie, 30, added that the photos were taken “by our wonderful midwife.”

“Thank you to the wonderful essential workers, including our midwife who came to discharge our boy,” she wrote.

Buckingham Palace also shared the news, tweeting a photo of the family of three.

“Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank have announced that they have named their son August Philip Hawke Brooksbank,” the tweet read. “The couple have been touched by the well wishes they have received on the birth of their first child, and are delighted to share this first photo as a family.”

Baby August was born Feb. 9, the palace announced previously.
