CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A toddler is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Wednesday evening, authorities said.
According to WSOC-TV, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police responded about 6:30 p.m. to a reported shooting at a Camp Greene Street home. Emergency crews rushed a 2-year-old child who had suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound to a nearby hospital, the news outlet reported.
Police said they are not seeking any suspects in connection with the incident, WSOC reported. No further details were immediately available.
